Catching a cold: what the mind causes and what simply happens

Frederic gives an example: while making his choices he suddenly caught a cold, and wonders whether that was significant beyond it simply being the season.

The Wonders reply that catching the cold was not his mind's decision, it was simply something that happened, but that the stress and movement beforehand which lowered his immune system was his mind's doing.

They add that how one deals with it matters: rather than feeling sorry for himself or resisting, as his mind and inner child would prefer, he can take some vitamin C and get on with life, supporting the body so it heals itself and taking the mind out of the equation.
